Golden evening light on snowy Himalayan peaks

The idea

Wild & Mindful Journeys started from my own travels: slow, soulful trips through the Himalayas, Rishikesh and Rajasthan. I wanted one place where solo travellers could find small-group journeys, travel 1:1 with a local companion, and connect with teachers and makers from the same community.

What I built

I designed and built the whole platform:

  • Journeys. Listing and detail pages with rich, photo-led itineraries, managed from an admin dashboard.
  • Services. 1:1 travel companion, custom itineraries and small-group trips, each with its own enquiry path.
  • Mindful offerings. A directory of yoga, breathwork, qi gong, sound healing and meditation practitioners, organised by category. Teachers can apply to join.
  • Live events. Online sessions hosted by community practitioners, with registration so attendees receive the join link.
  • The Waybook Process. A landing page for a 12-week online program, with an application-only flow.
  • Soulful Crafts. A marketplace for handmade work (crochet, macramé, candles, crystals, jewellery) with search, categories and a “sell your crafts” flow for artisans.
  • Community. A review form, a photo gallery, a journal, an availability calendar and a WhatsApp chat button.

Design

The palette is warm and grounded: cream, forest green and soft gold, with Playfair Display headings over Inter. Each section has its own mood. The craft marketplace uses a playful violet, while the program page uses misty forest photography. They all share one calm, consistent structure.

What I learned

A wellness business has more moving parts than it looks: trips, people, payments, applications and content all need a home. Building it taught me to keep the outside soft and simple while making the inside well organised. That’s the approach I now bring to websites for conscious brands.
